The season 1 finale of HBO's 'Euphoria' has us very worried about the fate of two beloved characters. But as for everyone else? Conclusions were not so cut and dry. Where the hell was McKay Algee Smith the whole episode? Why is Nate Jacob Elordi still alive? Will Lexi Maude Apatow finally get her due and get a love life of her own like she wants? What does that music video ending mean for Rue and what in the hell happened to Fez? Earlier this season, we discussed the theory that Rue has been dead this whole time and the finaleleaves some hints to support that.
Euphoria airs Sundays on HBO. Fear The Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC.
Euphoria is an American teen drama television series created by Sam Levinson , loosely based on the Israeli miniseries of the same name. Euphoria received positive reviews from critics, who praised its cinematography, story, score, performances, specifically those of Zendaya and Hunter Schafer, and approach to its mature subject matter, although it did become the subject of controversy due to its use of nudity and sexual content, which some critics perceived to be excessive. An year-old Nate discovers his father's collection of self-made videos featuring him having sex with young gay men and trans women. As a teenager, Nate becomes a successful quarterback who struggles with anger issues. In the present, Nate breaks into Tyler's house and severely beats him, accusing him of raping Maddy at McKay's party. On the first day of school, Rue breaks down after being asked to talk about her summer. Lexi attempts to comfort her.
The actor has a recurring role on Euphoria as the wise Ali who tries to help Rue Zendaya cope with her crippling drug addiction at Narcotics Anonymous. And I did think it was really interesting and honest that the writing started to look at this idea of how much pressure someone would feel if they were just suddenly in a relationship with someone that they had really strong feelings for at such a young age. Rue sticks to her plans to stay sober for Jules. The episode begins with Rue comparing her feeling for Jules to the best drug experience that she has ever had. Ali had already warned Rue that she was addicted to her love for Jules and using that as a substitute for drugs. She decides to come clean at her N. But Rue does admit that she has been clean for about two weeks. Ali gives Rue a harsh dose of reality, when he tells her to think about living her life without Jules, once their high school romance ends. The episode ends with Jules looking even more confused about whether Rue is too co-dependent to make their relationship work.
